Informatics Student Expo 2018 was held on 25 July 2018 at Telkom DILO Malang. The event intended to showcase the products of software developments in Jurusan Teknik Informatika UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, and to deliver professional practice and competitive environment to the students of Jurusan Teknik Informatika and all participant of Informatics Student Expo 2018. The event was enabled by the collaboration with Fakulti Teknologi dan Sains Maklumat (FTSM) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Digital Lounge PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, STASION (Komunitas Startup Kota Malang), InagataTechnosmith, and student’s communities in Informatics.

A group of juries from the Association of Startup and Software House Kota Malang (STASION) were appointed to evaluated the participants, among them were M. Miftahul Huda (Inagata Technosmith), Misbakhul Mustofin (DOT), M. Zulfikar Albaba (DILO), Alvan Zahputra (TABOOK Indonesia/INDUX), Deni Prasetyo (Roleplay Studio) and Agung Almais (Jurusan Teknik Informatika). The evaluation included four aspect i.e. frontend, backend, business and impact.
