Malang, June 13, 2024 – The Master of Informatics program at Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang hosted a guest lecture on the topic “Technical Preparation of Patent Documents in the Field of Computer Science.” This event aimed to provide participants with insights and practical skills for preparing strong and effective patent documents.
The guest lecture featured Ir. Sahat Manihuruk, the Chief Patent Examiner from the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. With his extensive experience in the field, Ir. Sahat Manihuruk’s presence was expected to offer comprehensive knowledge on various technical and strategic aspects of patent preparation and submission.
The event took place on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, in a hybrid format. Participants could attend either in person at the campus or online via the provided platform.
The lecture covered topics ranging from general patent knowledge to the detailed process of drafting effective patent documents. This guest lecture aimed to better prepare participants for challenges in the patent field, particularly in the realm of computer science.
