The Informatics Engineering study program successfully held a Field Work Practice (PKL) socialization on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the North Auditorium on the 4th floor of the BJ Habibie Building.<\/span><\/span> The event, which began promptly at 9:00 a.m. WIB, was attended by students preparing for their PKL in the upcoming semester.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The socialization was officially opened by the Head of the Study Program, Mr. Supriyono, M.Kom. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of understanding the latest PKL regulations so that students can prepare well from the start.\"\"<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The keynote speaker at the event was Mr. Nurizal, M.Kom.<\/span> In his presentation, he detailed the PKL implementation process and several significant changes compared to previous years. Several key points highlighted during the socialization included:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Determination of Supervisors (Dosbing): Unlike before, supervisors will now be determined at the beginning of the semester, allowing students to consult promptly regarding PKL preparations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Continuous Monitoring: Monitoring will be conducted from the beginning of the internship to ensure activities are proceeding according to plan.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Changes to the Internship Output: The mandatory output of the internship is now a final report, instead of a paper.<\/span><\/span> This change aims to train students in writing scientific papers as a starting point for their thesis writing.<\/span><\/span> Therefore, students are no longer required to publish papers in journals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Group System: More than one student (groups) may participate in a single internship location.<\/span><\/span> However, reports will remain individualized, tailored to each student’s job description or duties at the internship location.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Group Guidance: One supervisor can supervise a group of students simultaneously in the same internship location.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This outreach is expected to help students understand the new procedures and regulations, ensuring smooth implementation and maximum benefits for both students and the institution.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
