The Informatics Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, hosted a study visit from Ibrahimy University Situbondo on Thursday (October 8, 2026). This visit served as an opportunity to strengthen ties and exchange insights regarding academic governance, student development, and laboratory management.<\/p>\n
The welcoming event was warm and was opened by the FST Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Akyunul Jannah, S.Si., M.P. In her remarks, she expressed appreciation for the visit from Ibrahimy University Situbondo and expressed hope that this occasion would open up opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration in the future.<\/p>\n
Following the opening session and a brief introduction to the Faculty of Science and Technology\u2019s profile\u2014specifically the Informatics Engineering and Architecture study programs\u2014the agenda proceeded with a presentation on the various achievements and innovative creations of UIN Malang Informatics Engineering students. These works demonstrated the study program’s commitment to encouraging students to actively innovate and excel at both national and international levels.<\/p>\n
Facility Tour and Interactive Laboratory Discussions
\nThe event continued with a tour of the learning and research facilities within the Informatics Engineering department. Key locations visited included the Digital Laboratory and the Robotics Laboratory.<\/p>\n
Inside the laboratories, the visiting group was welcomed by laboratory staff and student assistants who were actively working on various research projects. An interactive discussion ensued; the guests showed great enthusiasm while observing project demonstrations and discussing topics ranging from research processes and robotics technology implementation to the management of daily laboratory activities.<\/p>\n
