The Informatics Engineering Study Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang once again received a visit from MA Daruttauhid Malang. This second session of the visit took place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. A total of 24 students participated in this activity to learn about future technology.<\/p>\n

The event began in the meeting room. The campus staff warmly welcomed the students and their accompanying teachers. In this room, the students listened to a brief explanation about the world of technology.<\/p>\n

The Head of the Robotics Laboratory explained that today’s youth must master digital technology. Technology is no longer an option, but a necessity.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, the students entered the Robotics Laboratory. They saw various sophisticated devices made by UIN Malang students. These devices utilize robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT) technology.<\/p>\n

Here are some of the devices on display:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. IoT Chicken Farmer: This device can feed chickens and control coop conditions via the internet.<\/li>\n
  2. IoT Charity Box: This modern charity box has a strict digital security system.<\/li>\n
  3. Soccer Robot and Sumo Robot: These robots use smart sensors to compete in soccer and sumo.<\/li>\n
  4. Automatic Trash Can: This trash can opens automatically when it detects hand movements.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The students not only watched but also had the opportunity to try out these devices firsthand. They tried moving the soccer robot using a remote control and tested the sensors on the automatic trash can. The students were very happy and enthusiastic.<\/p>\n

    The event concluded with an interactive question and answer session. The students actively asked questions directly to the students who created the projects. They asked about how to assemble the robot, how to program it (coding), and how to overcome obstacles when assembling the device.<\/p>\n

    The educational visit went smoothly. It is hoped that this activity will inspire the students to learn more about technology and prepare them for future challenges.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
