As a Follow-up to Collaboration, 3 IT Students from UIN Malang Accepted for Internships at PT. LyondellBasell

As a concrete step toward strengthening the synergy between academia and industry, representatives from the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang paid an official visit to PT. LyondellBasell Advanced Polyolefins today, Friday (October 16, 2026). This visit serves as a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) previously signed by both parties.

This strategic partnership stems from a formal agreement between the Rector of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Prof. Dr. Ilfi Nur Diana, M.Si., and the President Director of PT. LyondellBasell Advanced Polyolefins, Rakhma Febriani. The collaboration focuses on three key pillars: the implementation of the *Tridharma* (the three pillars of higher education), human resource development, and research and development of competency assessment systems.

The visit, which took place in a warm atmosphere this Friday, not only strengthened institutional ties but also brought encouraging news for the academic community—specifically for the Informatics Engineering study program at UIN Malang. In line with the commitment to human resource development and the alignment of the curriculum with industry needs, three (3) students from the Informatics Engineering program have been officially accepted for an industrial internship at PT. LyondellBasell Advanced Polyolefins. The three Informatics Engineering students who successfully qualified and are now set to gain knowledge and professional experience within the industrial sector are:

  1. Siti Annisa Rahmiasari (Student ID: 230605110194)
  2. Sheila Apriliani Putri (Student ID: 230605110005)
  3. Deshinta Setyawan Putri (Student ID: 220605110034)

Through this internship program, these Informatics Engineering students are expected to apply their skills in coding, software engineering, and system integration within the ecosystem of a modern manufacturing industry, while simultaneously honing their soft skills and professionalism in an international-scale work environment.

The Informatics Engineering Study Program at UIN Malang expresses its deepest appreciation to PT.
