Darul Mukhlashin Vocational School, Probolinggo, conducted an educational visit to the Informatics Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, on Wednesday (June 10th). During the visit, Darul Mukhlashin Vocational School delegated 25 participants, consisting of 17 Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) students and 8 accompanying teachers from Darul Mukhlashin Vocational School, Tegal Siwalan, Probolinggo Regency.

This activity aimed to provide students with insight into the world of higher education, particularly in the fields of information technology and computers. During the visit, participants received information about the Informatics Engineering Study Program profile, curriculum, academic support facilities, and career opportunities for graduates in the information technology field.
The presentation regarding the Informatics Engineering Study Program was delivered by the Head of the Informatics Engineering Study Program, Mr. Supriyono, M.Kom. In his presentation, he explained the various advantages of the study program, the students’ academic and non-academic activities, and the importance of mastering technology and digital skills to face the challenges of the workplace in the era of digital transformation.
The students enthusiastically participated in the event. Various questions related to lectures, job prospects, and competency development in informatics were addressed during the interactive discussion session.
Vocational High School Darul Mukhlashin expressed its appreciation to the Informatics Engineering Study Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang for the opportunity provided to students to gain a closer understanding of the university environment and the world of information technology.
The visit concluded with a group photo session between the SMK Darul Mukhlashin group and the Informatics Engineering Study Program academic community. Next, participants were taken on a tour of the Informatics Engineering Study Program’s laboratories to see firsthand the various learning support facilities and practical exercises used by students in their studies.
This activity is expected to further motivate students to continue their education to a higher level and prepare themselves to become a competent generation ready to face future technological developments.
