Students from the Informatics Engineering program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang have once again achieved outstanding success at the national level. A team representing UIN Malang secured 1st place in the prestigious Hackathon WrecK-IT 7.0 technology competition.
This national-scale competition saw participation from 92 teams representing various public and private universities across Indonesia. After navigating a series of selection rounds and fierce competition, the UIN Malang team advanced to the finals and outperformed strong teams from renowned institutions, such as:
- State Cyber ​​and Cryptography Polytechnic (Poltek SSN)
- Army Cyber ​​Polytechnic (Politeknik Siber AD)
- Bandung State Polytechnic (Polban)
- Brawijaya University (UB)
This remarkable success was the result of a solid collaboration between three UIN Malang students:
- Rafiq Alhariri Andriansyah (Informatics Engineering)
- Muhammad Bagus Kurniawan (Informatics Engineering)
- Nur Fatima (Mathematics Education)
The combination of expertise in information technology development and mathematical logic proved to be the team’s key asset in formulating innovative solutions throughout the competition.
The team was expertly guided and supported by their supervising lecturer, Tri Mukti Lestari, M.Kom.
