Another brilliant achievement was made by students of the Informatics Engineering Study Program at the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Two talented students, Pandhu Syach Aryanto and Rahmatulloh, succeeded in winning the Brawijaya Student Taekwondo Championship event which was held on 13–15 February 2026 at the Pertamina GOR, Brawijaya University, Malang City.

Both of them took part in bringing the name of the UIN Malang Contingent and succeeded in showing their best abilities in the Kyorugi (fighting) class until they emerged as champions. The following are the achievements achieved:

1. Pandhu Syach Aryanto – 1st Place in Senior Beginner Kyorugi Class M-63
2. Rahmatulloh – 1st Place in Senior Beginner Kyorugi Class M-58

For this achievement, both students received a certificate of appreciation with the same number, 00015/DST/UN10.A0301/B/DL.07.05/2026, which was signed by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni and Student Entrepreneurship at Brawijaya University, Dr. Setiawan Noerdajasakti, SH., MH., and Chair of the Malang City IT Pengkot, Thomas Tri Budi Dharma S.T.

This achievement proves that Informatics Engineering students not only excel in technology and academics, but are also able to excel in sports. It is hoped that this achievement can inspire other students to continue developing their potential, both on and off campus.
