A brilliant achievement was again made by pencak silat athletes in Pasuruan City. MOH MUSA AL KADZIM managed to come out as the first winner at the Medina Van Java Championship Pencak Silat Championship which was held at Gor Untung Suropati, Pasuruan City, on October 3-4, 2025.

In the prestigious event which was attended by contingents from various regions, Musa—as he is familiarly called—performed mightily in the Adult Male Class A (45-50 Kg), Pool 2. With the technique, agility, and champion mentality he showed, he managed to put all his competitors aside and bring home a gold medal for  the Pasuruan City PD contingent.

The Madinah Van Java Championship is not only a place to show the teeth of Indonesia’s best athletes, but also proof that the city of Pasuruan has the seeds of martial athletes who are able to compete at the national level. This achievement is expected to spur the enthusiasm of other young athletes to continue to train and excel.

The achievement of MOH MUSA AL KADZIM received high appreciation from the ranks of the government and local sports organizations. The certificate of appreciation for his victory was officially signed by representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, the Mayor of Pasuruan, and the Chairman of KONI Pasuruan City.

“Achievements like this are the fruit of hard work, discipline, and support from all parties. We from KONI Pasuruan City are very proud and will continue to fully support our athletes to achieve even higher achievements,” said a KONI representative.

With this achievement, the name MOH MUSA AL KADZIM is increasingly known in the national pencak silat scene. It is believed that his journey will not stop here, and will be a stepping stone to victory in even bigger events in the future.
