Malang – Student Association of Informatics Department in collaboration with student communities such as Fun Java, Ontaki, Mamud, Weboender, UINBUNTU, ETH0, UINUX, Al-Fataa and MOCAP helped new students to find their passion in Information and Communication Technology by delivering an annual event namely IT Incubation.
In this event, students would be guided by mentors who have their authority in Informatics communities such as become community administrators or senior member of start-up. The students were facilitated to develop their skill by selecting and participating in the communities they want to follow according to their passion. Here, students could learn ICT by fun with the help of student association and all member of student communities.
IT Incubation was held for 5 days: 28, 29 September and 6, 11, 12 October 2019. Later, students are expected to produce a project or prototype of learning at IT Incubation and will be exhibited at the end of this semester. So, students could learn ICT as well as to produce a product by applying the material that have been learned in this event.
