The Informatics Engineering Study Program demonstrates a real commitment to educating the nation through community service. This time, a team of lecturers and students implemented a Community Development Program (CDP) at Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School in Malang City.

Themed “Development of AI-Based Educational Content at Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School in Malang City,” this program aims to introduce and optimize the use of artificial intelligence technology in the Islamic boarding school educational environment.

At the inaugural meeting, the Informatics Engineering CDP team visited to explain the program’s aims and objectives. The main focus was the importance of developing healthy and wise digital literacy for students, from elementary, middle, and high school levels.

This initial step was warmly welcomed by the head of Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Mohammad Bisri, MS, and the foundation’s board of directors expressed their appreciation for this initiative, as it aligns with the Islamic boarding school’s vision of combining the depth of Islamic religious knowledge with mastery of modern science.

About the Boarding School: Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School in Malang is located on Jl. Joyo Agung, Tlogomas, Lowokwaru. Under the auspices of the Bahrul Maghfiroh Cinta Indonesia Foundation, this institution is known for actively integrating religious values ​​with cutting-edge technological developments.

This initial meeting laid an important foundation for future collaboration. As a follow-up, the CDP Informatics Engineering team and the boarding school management have scheduled a follow-up meeting on a different day. The next session will be more interactive and directly involve the students as the primary participants in the AI-based content training.

Through this program, it is hoped that the students will not only become consumers of technology but also become creators of creative, innovative, and virtuous educational content in the digital era.
