The Informatics Engineering Study Program of the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, in collaboration with AMD Indonesia, successfully held a guest lecture titled “AMD Tech Gen: The AI Era! Powered Creation for the Next Generation” on Friday (February 13, 2026). The event, which took place in the 4th Floor Auditorium of the UIN Malang campus, was attended by 300 Informatics Engineering students with high enthusiasm.

Present on the occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Mr. Dr. Agus Mulyono, and the Head of the Informatics Engineering Study Program, Mr. Supriono, M.Kom. From AMD, also present were Armawati Cen as Consumer Business Development Manager of AMD Indonesia, Donnie Brahmandika as Product Marketing Manager of AMD Indonesia, along with the AMD team. This event was also fully supported by the Computesta team led by Eldiana Martha Rosa as Project Manager, assisted by Ilham Azmil, Muhammad Rayes (Event & KOL Specialist), and Muhammad Bintang (Production Officer).
The event kicked off at 8:00 a.m. WIB with registration and the Experience Zone, where attendees could try AMD products firsthand. Following warm welcomes from university and AMD representatives, Donnie Brahmandika delivered a keynote session, presenting information about AMD products and the latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Participants enthusiastically participated in the presentation and interactive Q&A session.
The excitement of the event intensified during the Kahoot Games session, hosted by the MC. Winners received various attractive prizes and merchandise from AMD. As a token of appreciation, each participant also received a snack box and an exclusive e-certificate from AMD.

“We truly appreciate this collaboration. Guest lectures like this are crucial for broadening students’ horizons regarding global technological developments, particularly in the AI era,” said Mr. Supriono, M.Kom. Meanwhile, Armawati Cen expressed her hope that the younger generation, particularly Informatics Engineering students at UIN Malang, would utilize AMD technology to create and innovate in the future.
The event concluded with a group photo session of AMD representatives, faculty, and students. It is hoped that this activity will prepare students to face the challenges of the digital age and create outstanding work for future generations.
