The Informatics Engineering Study Program organized a guest lecture titled “Accelerating the Writing of Scientific Publications for Reputable Journals.” The event aimed to encourage academics to become more active and successful in writing international-standard scientific articles.
The activity took place over four days August 12, 14, 19, and 21, 2026—in the meeting room, running from 09:00 to 11:30 WIB.
To provide in-depth insights, the Informatics Engineering Study Program invited two academic experts as keynote speakers.
The first speaker was Prof. Dr. Suhartono, M.Kom., who presented two key topics essential for both novice and experienced writers. The first session focused on “Strategies for Selecting Relevant Topics for Scopus Articles,” followed by a second session on “Publication Strategies for Reputable Journals.”
The second speaker was Dr. Ir. Yunifa Miftachul Arif, S.ST., M.T., SMIEEE. He shared practical insights through a presentation titled “Writing Scopus Articles That Successfully Pass Journal Reviewer Assessments.” This session offered tips and tricks to help manuscripts meet the rigorous standards set by international journal reviewers.
This guest lecture represents a concrete step by the study program to enhance research quality. Through direct guidance from experts, participants are expected to gain an understanding of global writing standards and successfully publish their work in high-reputation journals, such as those indexed by Scopus.
