The Informatics Engineering Student Association “Encoder” of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang successfully held the Design Level Up Seminar. The event took place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in the 3rd Floor Auditorium of Building D, Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang.

The seminar, organized in collaboration with the UINUX Community, carried the theme “Level up your design skills in the digital era.” The event began at 8:00 a.m. and concluded at 11:10 a.m. WIB. Mr. Supriyono, M.Kom., Head of the Informatics Engineering Study Program, was also invited to attend and address the participants.

The seminar featured a highly competent speaker in his field, Muhammad Zaim Maulana S.Kom., M.MT. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering from UIN Malang and then pursued a Master’s degree in Technology Management at ITS. As a practitioner, he has over four years of experience as a UI/UX Designer. He currently works as a Webflow Developer at Sans Brothers Agency, while also handling various freelance projects for clients in the United States and Dubai.

The event was interactive, with the main session consisting not only of material presentations but also of hands-on practice sessions with all participants. The participants’ enthusiasm was evident during the Q&A session, quizzes, and icebreakers. After a series of intensive and meaningful activities, the event concluded with feedback, a prayer, and a closing session.
