The Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang hosted a Guest Lecture with the theme “AI Generation: Superior Competence, Ethical, and Globally Competitive”. This event was held to prepare students and academic members to respond to the rapid growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, while keeping a strong focus on ethics and global competitiveness.
For this special event, the department invited an expert speaker, Aang Subiyakto, S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D., from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, who also represents the Independent Accreditation Agency for Informatics and Computer Science (LAM Infokom). His presentation offered valuable insights into academic standards, industry requirements, and national educational quality in the field of informatics.
The guest lecture took place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM WIB. Held at the North Auditorium, 4th Floor, B.J. Habibie Building, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, the session aimed to inspire a new generation of students who are not only skilled in AI technology, but also possess strong moral integrity and global readiness.
