Informatics Student Expo 2017 was held on 14 August 2017 at Telkom DILO Malang. The event intended to showcase the products of software developments in Jurusan Teknik Informatika UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, and to deliver professional practice and competitive environment to the students of Jurusan Teknik Informatika and all participant of Informatics Student Expo 2017. The event was enabled by the collaboration with Fakulti Teknologi dan Sains Maklumat (FTSM) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Digital Lounge PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, STASION (Komunitas Startup Kota Malang), InagataTechnosmith, and student’s communities in Informatics.

• UKM Events (Nur Atiqah binti Muhammad Sofian, Nurul Haziqah binti Mohd Haris, Nur Nabila Afifah binti Mohd Shah, Masfuadi Iskandar)

• Go Penang (Nurul Shafiqah binti Muhammad, Nik Nur Syafiqa Alya binti Kamaruddin, Anwar Nur Rahman, Nuzulul Huda)

The participants were evaluated by a group of juries appointed from the association of software house and startup Kota Malang (STASION). The evaluation included the parameter of usability, commercialization aspect, and UI/UX.

The winner of Informatics Student Expo 2017 was Extreme Rider.
