The Encoder Informatics Engineering Study Program Student Association held an ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Festival which consisted of 3 competitions, namely Innovation App, Cinematography, and Micro Drone Race. On Sunday, November 13 2022, the Micro Drone Race was held at the UIN Malang Library Basement and became the first competition to start this year’s Gebyar ICT activities. This competition carries the theme “Maximize The Potential Of Technology and Carry It As High As Possible”.
This activity was opened by the MC at 10.00 WIB and continued with remarks from Taufik Ardiansyah Putra as the head of the committee. Then, each participant is allowed to conduct experiments on the arena where the competition is held. The arena consists of various kinds of obstacles and each participant must make it through.
The euphoria that was felt so great in the Micro drone competition this time was seen from the number of participants who registered as many as 30 participants. Therefore, this competition uses a group system in its elimination. Each group consists of 3 participants. Then, Participants who win in the preliminary round will be competed again to get 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
This competition went on for a long time until 14.26 WIB and it was decided who would be the winner. 1st place was won by FPV Lumajang, 2nd place was Sabah FPV and 3rd place was Bangil FPV. The event continued with a group photo between the committee and participants and closed with the distribution of merch from Himatif Store.
