Another brilliant achievement was made by Informatics Engineering students of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in the UNY National IT Competition (UNITY Competition #12) held by Yogyakarta State University. In the competition which took place from March 15 to May 11, 2024, the delegation team from UIN Malang won 3rd Runner-up in the Game Application Development Category.
The team consisting of Furkon Aziz Aini, Prana Wijaya, Muhamad Haqqul Hakim, and M. Tazkia Ikhsanul Ma’arif, with guidance from Ahmad Fahmi Karami, M.Kom, successfully demonstrated creativity and innovation in developing a game application that received appreciation from the jury. This victory is real proof of the ability of UIN Malang students to compete at the national level.
This competition was held on the campus of Yogyakarta State University, precisely at Jl. Colombo No.1 Karangmalang, Yogyakarta, and was attended by dozens of teams from various universities in Indonesia. UNITY Competition #12 itself is a prestigious event that hones students’ abilities in the IT field, especially in technology development innovation.
With this achievement, UIN Malang is increasingly showing its existence as one of the superior universities in the field of information technology. Hopefully this achievement can be a motivation for other students to continue to work and innovate. Congratulations to the UIN Malang Informatics Engineering team for their achievement!
