The Informatics Engineering Study Program at UIN Malang successfully held an Open Talk for Curriculum Review the 2024 event on Wednesday, 15 May 2024. This event was attended by various parties, from students, industry, to alumni, as a form of commitment to presenting a curriculum that is relevant to current developments.
In this event, the Head of the Study Program, Dr. Fachrul Kurniawan ST., M.MT ., IPM, enthusiastically conveyed the profile and achievements of the study program, which succeeded in achieving superior accreditation.
Meanwhile, Dr. Aryo Nugroho, S.T., S.Kom., M.T., also provided an in-depth understanding of the concept of Independent Learning – Independent Campus and how it relates to curriculum development at the tertiary level.
Discussions involving alumni and industry also enlivened the event. M. Faeroz, MT from PT. Mulia Frekwensi Adyatama, and Ahsanul Naseh Khudori, M.Kom from PT. Arkatama, share their insights and experiences in dealing with current industry dynamics. They also provide valuable input regarding the abilities that Informatics Engineering graduates should have in order to compete in a competitive job market.
This event closed with a group photo session as a sign of togetherness in responding to changes and increasingly complex educational challenges. Thus, it is hoped that the curriculum prepared by the Informatics Engineering Study Program at UIN Malang can produce quality graduates who are ready to face future challenges.
