Malang, July 29, 2024 – The Master of Informatics Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang welcomed a delegation from Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum (UNIPDU) Jombang for a benchmarking visit. The purpose of this visit was to exchange information and experiences in program management and to enhance the quality of education at both institutions.
The delegation from UNIPDU Jombang, consisting of faculty members and administrative staff, was warmly received by the team from the Master of Informatics Program at UIN Malang. The event began with a welcome speech by Dr. Ahmad Faiz, the Head of the Master of Informatics Program, who introduced the program’s profile and achievements.
During the discussion session, both parties shared best practices in academics, research, and community service. Key topics discussed included the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curricula, strategies for increasing scientific publications, and human resource development.
Additionally, the UNIPDU Jombang team observed various supporting facilities at UIN Malang, such as computer laboratories, classrooms, and the library. They appreciated UIN Malang’s efforts in providing facilities that support the learning and research processes.
This activity is expected to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions and open up further opportunities for collaboration in the future. hope that the results of this benchmarking visit would provide benefits and inspiration for the development of study programs at both universities.
The visit concluded with a group photo session and the exchange of souvenirs as a memento of the event.
Through this benchmarking activity, it is hoped that the Master of Informatics Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang and UNIPDU Jombang can continue to innovate and contribute to producing excellent and highly competitive graduates in the field of informatics.
