Malang, July 22, 2024 – The Information Technology Study Program, Faculty of Da’wah, State Islamic University (UIN) Salatiga conducted a comparative study visit to the Informatics Engineering Study Program, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This visit aims to gain knowledge and share experiences in an effort to achieve superior accreditation.
The group was warmly welcomed by the Head of the Informatics Engineering Study Program, UIN Malang, Dr. Fachrul Kurniawan ST., M.MT., IPM, along with the lecturers and administrative staff.
The UIN Salatiga delegation expressed its appreciation for the achievement of the Informatics Engineering Study Program of UIN Malang which successfully achieved superior accreditation. The hope of this visit is to provide new insights and effective strategies to improve the academic quality and management of study programs in the UIN Salatiga environment.
During the visit, the group from UIN Salatiga was invited to discuss the curriculum, teaching methods, and various innovations that have been implemented by the Informatics Engineering Study Program, UIN Malang. In addition, they also had the opportunity to listen to a presentation on the preparation process and steps taken to achieve superior accreditation.
Dr. Fachrul Kurniawan ST., M.MT., IPM explained that the success of the Informatics Engineering Study Program of UIN Malang in achieving superior accreditation cannot be separated from the hard work of the entire academic community. “We are always committed to improving the quality of education and research, as well as building good synergy between lecturers, students, and industry,” he said.
The visit ended with an interactive question and answer session and discussion, where various ideas and valuable experiences were shared. Both parties agreed to establish closer cooperation in the future for the advancement of higher education in Indonesia.
This activity is expected to provide inspiration and motivation for the Information Technology Study Program of the Faculty of Da’wah UIN Salatiga in achieving superior accreditation, as well as strengthening cooperative relations between universities in Indonesia.
