The Informatics Engineering Study Program of the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang has successfully held a guest lecture with the theme Collaboration Research With AI. This event was held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 08.00 WIB, located on the 4th floor of the North Auditorium of the B.J. Habibie Building, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Malang.
This guest lecture presented a great speaker, Romi Satria Wahono, M.Eng., Ph.D., an expert in the field of information technology and artificial intelligence (AI). In the event, he explained how AI can help research and daily work. Participants were invited to understand the importance of collaborating in technology research and learning to use AI well.
This guest lecture was also an important moment for students and lecturers to gain new insights into advanced technology. All participants were happy because the event was interesting and full of knowledge. This event also proved UIN Malang’s commitment to supporting technological advances in the future.
The guest lecture, which started at 08.00 WIB, was attended by more than 200 participants, including lecturers, undergraduate and postgraduate students of Informatics, education staff, and the Head of the Center for Information Technology and Database (PTIPD) of UIN Malang. The presence of diverse participants showed high enthusiasm for the topic of AI-based collaborative research.
The guest lecture was closed with the presentation of plaques and thanks to the speakers, accompanied by warm applause from the participants. This event is expected to be the first step in expanding the collaborative research network and advancing the development of AI-based technology in the UIN Malang environment.
