Kota Batu, June 28-29, 2024 – The Faculty of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Master of Informatics Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, conducted an accreditation document review at Riverstone Hotel & Cottage, Kota Batu. This event aimed to ensure that the prepared accreditation documents meet the quality standards set by the accreditation bodies.
The review session took place over two days, from June 28 to 29, 2024, and was attended by the entire leadership team, faculty members, and administrative staff from both the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Master of Informatics Program. In her opening remarks, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Hj. Sri Harini, M.Si., emphasized the importance of this review to maintain and enhance the quality of education at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.
“This accreditation document review is part of our ongoing efforts to improve the quality of education and ensure that the standards set by accreditation bodies are met. We hope that through this activity, we can compile comprehensive and accurate accreditation documents,” said Prof. Dr. Hj. Sri Harini, M.Si.
Over the course of two days, participants engaged in intensive discussions on each component of the accreditation documents, receiving input from various experts experienced in accreditation document preparation. One session that received particular attention was the discussion on the assessment standards that each program must meet.
Dr. Cahyo Crysdian, Head of the Master of Informatics Program, stated that this activity is crucial in preparing for the upcoming accreditation process. “We are committed to delivering the best in our accreditation document preparation. Through this review, we hope to improve and complete the accreditation documents in accordance with the applicable standards,” said Dr. Cahyo Crysdian.
In addition to discussing the accreditation documents, the event also served as an opportunity to strengthen relationships among participants through group discussions and team-building activities. It is hoped that this activity will enhance the spirit of cooperation and camaraderie among the academic community.
The accreditation document review concluded with the compilation of a review report, which will serve as a reference for the final preparation of the accreditation documents. Participants left the event with high hopes that the prepared accreditation documents would lead the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Master of Informatics Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang to achieve satisfactory accreditation results.
Riverstone Hotel & Cottage was chosen as the venue for this event due to its complete facilities and conducive atmosphere for discussion and teamwork. Its strategic location in Kota Batu also provided comfort for participants to focus on the accreditation document review activities.
