On February 22-23, 2024, the Informatics Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University (UIN) Malang received a significant visit. A team of assessors from the Independent Accreditation Institution for Informatics Engineering (LAM INFOKOM) was present to conduct a Field Assessment related to the accreditation of the Computer Science undergraduate program.
The Assessment Team, consisting of Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Nurdiati, M.Sc, from Bogor Agricultural University, and Dr. Dede Kurniadi, M.Kom from Garut Institute of Technology, provided evaluations and assessments of various aspects related to the quality and standards of education in the Informatics Engineering program. This visit is part of a routine accreditation process to ensure that the program meets the established standards.
Prof. Sri Nurdiati and Dr. Dede Kurniadi conducted a thorough evaluation of the curriculum, learning processes, laboratory facilities, as well as the qualifications of lecturers and educational staff. The results of this assessment will serve as a reference for improving the quality and competitiveness of the Computer Science undergraduate program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.
With this visit, it is hoped that the Informatics Engineering undergraduate program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang can continue to improve its educational quality, thereby producing high-quality graduates who are ready to compete in the job market and internationally.
